I am a GP Partner with over 13 years' experience working as a cancer lead, specialising in early diagnosis and symptom awareness in primary care.
My work has focused on translating research evidence into practical approaches that improve clinical decision-making and support earlier cancer detection. My academic background, including a PhD in physiology, has helped shape a detailed and analytical approach to this work.
Through roles with Cancer Research UK and the East Midlands Cancer Alliance, I have developed experience in delivering programmes at scale and supporting system-wide improvements in early diagnosis.
The development of the Cancer Maps decision support tool has been one of the highlights of this work.
